Ingredients
  • 20 oz canned chunk chicken
  • ⅔ cup milk
  • 28 oz canned chicken broth
  • 2¼ cups biscuit baking mix
Instructions
  1. Stir the biscuit mix with the milk, just until they pull together.
  2. Pour the cans of chicken broth into a saucepan along with the drained chicken, and bring to a boil.
  3. When the broth is at a steady boil, take a handful of biscuit dough and flatten it in your hand.
  4. Tear off small pieces (1 or 2 inches) and drop them into the boiling broth.
  5. They need to be immersed for at least a minute.
  6. When all the dough is in the pot, stir so the dumplings are getting cooked evenly, the newer ones need to be submerged.
  7. Cover and simmer over a medium heat for about 10 minutes or until they're done, stirring occasionally.
