Low in Calories – High in Flavor

Low calorie does not have to mean lacking in flavor, because there are plenty of ingredients low in calories you can use to make tasty soups and stews. Canned soups are often higher in calories than they need to be, because of the thickeners and flavorings added, as well as the sugar, but making your own means you are in charge of what goes into the soup, so you can choose something low in calories or tweak something slightly higher in calories.
