Vegetable soup is always good but add some beef and you will have a really winning dish. Whether you opt to make your soup in a crockpot or on the stove, the finished product should be very tasty. Using beef means a nice meaty touch while the vegetables add nutrients as well as color and interesting textures. Choose from relatively simple recipes or pick out something with spices and exotic seasonings if you want to try something rather more unusual. There are certainly plenty of recipes you can browse before picking out something which really tempts your palate and fires your culinary imagination.

Beef and Vegetable Soup Ideas

Beef is often used in Mexican recipes so you might like to make a Mexican soup such as a taco soup or similar, or perhaps you would like to give an Asian spin to your soup, using ginger, garlic, soy sauce, 5-spice or similar. There are plenty of possibilities and if you use stewing beef or another economical cut, so you can make a wonderful soup without having to spend a fortune on expensive ingredients to make it. Ground beef is another option and you can shape ground beef into meatballs and then add those to the soup, or simply fry and drain it, then add the cooked ground beef as it is. If you cannot decide between beef and veggies for soup-making, you can use both.
