Chili is always good, whether you make it hot and spicy or somewhat milder, and whether you include beans or not. This dish can also be made in the crockpot, which is convenient if you are out all day and results in a smoother, tastier chili. Chili con carne is often served on game day, piping hot from mugs or bowls, perhaps with sour cream or over rice, and it is a lovely winter warmer if the weather is cold and you are craving something to warm you from the inside out.
