  • 2 lbs chicken breasts, no bones or skin
  • 3 potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 2 cans chicken broth, 14.5 oz each
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • ¼ cup cold water
  • ½ teaspoon sage
  • ½ teaspoon thyme
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 6 oz can tomato paste
  • 1 carrot, peeled and chopped
  • Handful green beans, trimmed
  1. Cut the chicken into cubes and add it to the crockpot with the broth, onion, green beans, potatoes, and carrots.
  2. Stir in the sage, thyme, paprika, tomato paste, and pepper.
  3. Cover and cook for 5 hours on high.
  4. Combine the cornstarch and the water until very smooth and add this to the crockpot, stirring well.
  5. Cover and cook for another hour.
  6. If the vegetables are not fork tender, keep cooking until they are.
